Archie Mills, who left us in the Summer after gaining his GCSEs, took time out to work in Malawi over the holidays. Thanks to lots of fundraising, in and out of school, Archie was able to self-finance the trip. Archie sends this message:
“Thank you Saint Aidan’s for sponsoring me on my trip to Malawi. Whilst there we refurbished many of the orphanage’s key rooms as well as building water tanks, stoves and a playground. Happiness radiates through the orphanage which is something I wasn’t expecting, I feel so honoured to have made a small impact into their daily lives. The memories I have made on this trip will last my whole life.”
