Job overview
Following the announcement by the current Headteacher, that he will be retiring at the end of this academic year, the Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced leader who shares the schools’ vision and values, and who can inspire both staff and students to achieve their full potential, guiding our school into an exciting new era.
Governors, staff and students are looking for an inspiring Headteacher with:
- an active, Christian commitment, able to develop further the excellent standards and Christian ethos of the school
- a clear educational philosophy and vision which focuses on learning and teaching to deliver high attainment and progress
- a passion to ensure that all children and adults are able to flourish through extensive opportunities for personal development and spiritual growth
- a desire to maintain and enhance the existing strengths of the school through a commitment to collaboration and professional growth

Teacher of Religious Education
The Governors are looking for a committed, expert teacher to join our Religious Education Department. The successful candidate will join a very supportive and experienced team within a thriving, friendly school with an inclusive Christian ethos. As a Church of England High School, Religious Education occupies a central role in our curriculum, allowing students to engage with and grow in their understanding of the Christian faith, as well as of the other faiths which our students will encounter in modern Britain. Our October 2024 SIAMS Inspection Report recognised RE as a strength of the school and stated, “RE leaders and staff combine to create a highly effective team of specialists who are aspirational for their students.”
The successful candidate will join a highly capable and experienced team in Religious Education and in the Humanities Faculty. The new teacher will teach RE at Key Stage 3 and at GCSE Level.
