Harvest Haul

By

Our Harvest Services took place on 27th and 28th September and what a joy they were.  Mr Eccles spoke about the many times ‘harvest’ is mentioned in the Bible, whilst our Chaplain, Mrs Cox, explained why it was so important for us to help those in need at this time of economic struggle.  Fifty-five boxes of food were donated and these will be distributed amongst various local charities, including the Preesall and Knott End foodbank, the Trussell Trust and Forest Gate Baptist Church.  The photos here show students bringing the food into the services.  A very, very big thank you to all the students, parents and staff who donated.  We’ll make sure that photos of the food being delivered are featured on our Twitter feed.
